An Amazon Digital & Device Alexa Support Associate is a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate and professional customer service to all Amazon customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers in expediting orders and correcting post-sales problems. Associates communicate with customers primarily through mail, chat and phone and utilize a variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, research and review policies and communicate effective solutions in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Familiarity with variety of Device Platforms (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Mobiles, Gaming consoles, Streaming devices) and Digital Services (Videos, Music, Apps, Video Games, streaming content, Cloud Storage) and associated technical terminologies
  • In-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies (Devices / Connectivity / Types)
  • Working knowledge of all kinds of mobile and computer OS ( Mac / iOS / Windows )
  • Ability to translate complex technical information / instructions into a simple language that would ensure seamless trouble shooting
  • Basic awareness about Amazon’s Devices and Digital Services (Subscriptions)
  • Awareness of latest trends and developments in the technology industry
  • Technically inclined with a drive to challenge existing processes and innovate
Communication Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to communicate correctly and clearly with all customers
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Good comprehension skills – ability to clearly understand and state the issues customers present
  • Ability to concentrate – follow customers issues without distraction to resolution

Role Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for defining and running internal communications and external communications including social media posts content for GBS T&I. The role will support the Head of Business Management GBS T&I to deliver on communications and engagement strategy/agenda for the business unit. This role will also be responsible for running special initiatives as needed and as assigned in the areas of employee experience and communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Create communication strategies and plans for internal and external communications
  • Plan and execute internal communications campaigns
  • Liaison with external agencies or work with internal teams to build out creative content
  • Understand the brand guidelines and review and create material accordingly
  • Drive employee engagement communication
  • Drive effective leadership communication
  • Partner with the HR & Recruiting teams as well as external corporate communications to drive collaborative, integrated, inspirational communications around employer branding that help retain existing employees and continue to recruit the world's best and brightest.
  • Partner with external communications & social media teams to develop strong internal communications components of major external announcements
  • Storyboard or translate ideas to successfully cover employee engagement programs, internal events, townhalls etc.
  • Should be able to work in a cross-team environment and coordinate between internal stakeholders, business owners, designers and marketers for the successful execution of projects within allotted budgets
  • Should be able to prioritize, drive and manage multiple projects/campaigns at the same time.
  • Good understanding of communication across tactics and platforms - offline, online, social, digital etc.
  • Create content as per the medium and drive content strategy that is aligned to target audience needs
  • Keep a track of latest communication trends and best practices and leverage them as much as possible within the available framework
